This blog thing is really crisp.
Yesterday, the fam trekked north to visit Christy's brother Craig's ranch near Palmdale. The trip was almost cut short when, soon into the 3-hour drive, grandson Luke lost his lunch in the back seat of Christy's Sequoia. We hosed him off and resumed the trip. Craig's place is a wide-open property where the grandboys could hike, explore and get dirty. They also consumd generous quantities of Easter candy. Christy and Audra particularly enjoyed the wind gusts which blew dust into their eyes. In the end, we had a great time and we're able to spend almost 6 hours visiting with Will and Audra during the drive.

Love the candy picture of Ethan! I hope the Sequoia recovered from Luke. We washed the car seat but an unpleasant smell still lingers. Thanks for taking us along.
