Our Ben Graduates!!!

Benjamin Franklin Bollard graduated from BYU this weekend. We are soooo proud of him. We are also thrilled that he and Heidi (and soon-to-arrive Teddy) will be moving to Southern California this Summer. Ah, life is good.

Protestors Challenge VP Commencement Speaker!!!

Vice President Dick Cheney was the commencement speaker this year at BYU. His presence brought BYU-style protestors (mild and well-behaved) to campus. Ben infiltrated the radical organization with his graduate charm.

The finalists

Some of you may have heard that I am representing Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman in his legal problems in Mexico. It's true. We are challenging the charges brought against the Dog, his son Leland and his "brother" Tim back in 2003, after they located convicted serial rapist and Max Factor heir Andrew Luster in Puerto Vallarta. We're currently waiting for a hearing date from the appellate court in Guadalajara. It is a challenging case, but it gives me a great opportunity to visit our old stomping grounds in Jalisco, Mexico. Stay tuned for future developments in the case.

Elder Bollard Is Coming Home!

Sam will finish a wonderful mission in Barcelona Spain on May 7, 2007. Most of the family is traveling to pick him up and see the areas where he served. We're very excited and very proud of Sam for the faithful way he served the Lord on his mission.

My favorite photo of Maxwell

Charlie is a Thespian

Charlie recently starred in Westwood Elementary's production of "When In Rome." He drew laughs and cheers as he wielded his sword on stage. He is looking for an agent. Please send any references.

This blog thing is really crisp.

Yesterday, the fam trekked north to visit Christy's brother Craig's ranch near Palmdale. The trip was almost cut short when, soon into the 3-hour drive, grandson Luke lost his lunch in the back seat of Christy's Sequoia. We hosed him off and resumed the trip. Craig's place is a wide-open property where the grandboys could hike, explore and get dirty. They also consumd generous quantities of Easter candy. Christy and Audra particularly enjoyed the wind gusts which blew dust into their eyes. In the end, we had a great time and we're able to spend almost 6 hours visiting with Will and Audra during the drive.
