It's rare these days to assemble the entire gang for a picture. This is the most recent photo of how we all look (including our new granddaughters). Family is the best!
The entire Bollard Family spent Christmas under one big cabin roof in Big Bear this year. We had a wonderful time playing with all the grandkids' toys and throwing snow balls. Merry Christmas
At 8:34 pm on September 1, 2009, Elsie Snow Bollard joined our clan. She is gorgeous. Everyone is doing just great. Christy and I are finally discovering just how wonderful little baby girls can be. Ethan, Luke, Max, Teddy and Tate now have a couple of young ladies to look after.
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Chloe Rose Bollard - the first female Bollard born in our family. She is absolutely gorgeous. We are getting ready to spoil her rotten. Mother and daughter are doing fine. She was born today, at 12:55 p.m. She looks a lot like her brother Luke, only prettier.
Christy and I visited Sam at Warren Air Force Base just outside of Cheyenne, Wyoming this past weekend. We had a wonderful visit and were thrilled to see Airman Bollard thriving in the Air Force. He is assigned to the missile maintanence program - where he works on ICBMs (mostly the Minuteman rocket). He's doing his best to keep our country safe. After the tour of the base, we took him to get some cowboy boots and a hat so that he would better fit in with the western crowd in Wyoming. We also attended the Singles Ward with him where we met the local fair maidens of Zion. Sam looks great and he sends his love to everyone back home.
We decided to "rough it" this weekend. Our pioneer ancestors would have been proud. Even Audra crawled into a sleeping bag and braved the elements. The grandboys had a grand time. The smores were delightful and the outhouse was relatively clean. I think we've found a new favorite pasttime.
While Teddy took his parents to Utah, we took the other four (including little Tate) to Downtown Disney, where we discovered that little boys are ticklish.
